ON EVERY JOB
What I Look For on a Service Call
When I get to a job, I don’t just look at the thing you called about. I take a minute to check the panel, the age of the wiring, and whether anything’s been patched together over the years.
A lot of homes in the Merrimack Valley are older, and what looks like a small problem is sometimes a sign of something bigger underneath. I’d rather tell you that upfront than have you call me back in six months for the same thing.
OFF the Clock
A Bit About Julio
Outside of work, it’s a quiet life. I’ve got a dog, Leo, who’s usually somewhere nearby when I’m home, and a good company all the time. I like straightforward: good work, a fair price, and not much fuss beyond that.
This is Leo, he wanted to check the trench PVC conduit during an underground electrical installation. He doesn’t supervise much, but that day he loved being outdoors.
Is it Ever OK to Fix Electrical Problems Yourself?
Sometimes, yes. Swapping a light fixture or replacing a switch plate is fine for most people who are reasonably careful.
Where it gets dangerous is anything involving your panel, your wiring, or a breaker that keeps tripping. That’s not a project; that’s a warning sign, and it’s worth getting looked at properly before it turns into a bigger problem.
If you’re ever unsure which category something falls into, that’s what the call is for.
Does Julio Handle Emergency Calls?
Yes. Electrical problems don’t wait for business hours, so I’m available 24/7 for emergencies. If something is not right and it can’t wait until morning, call and I’ll talk you through it.
Does Julio Speak Spanish?
Sí, se habla español. Comfortable working with Spanish-speaking homeowners and businesses across the valley.
